1. Infinity Pool
The infinity pool started out third on my list, but I realized this was our favorite spot at the Sheraton! My daughter and I spent many hours here enjoying the views, talking to other guests, watching the ocean and just relaxing (it’s for ages 16 and above – so thankful she was old enough!). Drinks can be ordered from one side of the pool and the bean bag floats are complimentary to use. We watched the sunset each evening from the pool as well – amazing!
2. The Views
There are spectacular views of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and the Pacific Ocean from this resort! If you want your own slice of this view, book an oceanfront room (the ocean view rooms have some water views). My daughter and I spent a lot of time on our balcony enjoying the sunrises and beautiful views.
3. Location
The Sheraton Waikiki has a prime location with just steps to Waikiki Beach (it’s not across the street like some of the hotels). It sits right next to the famous pink hotel – The Royal Hawaiian. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. If you stay here you are also in the hub of all the upscale shopping in Oahu! With many tourists in this area, it’s also safe.
4. Energy
If you are looking for a hotel in the middle of the action; the Sheraton is the hotel for you in Waikiki! It offers many amenities and activities to keep you entertained day and night. With an open air lobby and bars/restaurants/shops on site… it was abuzz with people all day long.
5. The Cookie Corner
My daughter and I ate (ok, more like devoured 😉 ) some of the best cookies we’ve ever had in this shop in the Sheraton! These locally made Hawaiian cookies quickly became our go to dessert during our stay in Oahu. One visit, after ordering our regular…peanut butter and chocolate chip – we discovered the Key Lime Bars! To. Die. For. Somehow a bag of those even made it home with us!
