For our 3 night post cruise stay in Dubai – my husband and I chose the Le Ville Hotel & Suites. We preferred a smaller hotel this visit and it’s part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, so we were also able to collect points. These are the 5 best reasons to stay at the Le Ville Hotel & Suites.
1. Hotel Size
After a day of sightseeing amongst the “biggest in the world” – a city where everything is mega sized and over the top – it’s nice coming home to a more intimate sized hotel. At this 156 room property it feels good to be greeted as you walk in and it’s only a short walk or elevator ride to your room.
2. Spacious Rooms
Even thought the Le Ville Hotel & Suites isn’t a large hotel – the rooms are generous in size! You’ll also be spoiled with a big, luxurious bathroom! You all know my most important hotel feature – the bed has to be comfy, and this one fits the bill! The curtains also block out all the light – which I think is also key when you’re traveling.
3. Location
Located on the Dubai City Walk – it’s a perk to be able to step outside the door to shopping and restaurants. Dubai is a very spread out city and isn’t very walkable. It’s also a short taxi distance of 15 minutes to the Dubai Mall and 45 minutes to the airport.
4. Food & Drink
From the breakfast buffet of American and Middle Eastern choices to dinner by the pool – the food was fresh and tasty at the Le Ville! Also, since alcohol isn’t served in Dubai restaurants – we enjoyed being able to order a beer and cocktail poolside (hotels have different liquor laws in Dubai).
5. Rooftop Area
Last but definitely not least – this is my favorite area at the Le Ville. I couldn’t get enough of those views of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai skyline! It’s a great spot to beat the desert heat in the infinity pool and grab a drink or meal from the rooftop bar. After 2 busy days of sightseeing – my husband and I hung out here our last day in Dubai. It was the perfect spot to wind down our epic trip!
Pro tip:
As most flights to North America depart as red eyes from Dubai – it’s so worth booking your hotel for the extra night! My husband I didn’t have to store our luggage or rush with the use of a day room. It was so much more relaxing having the use of our room the day of our departure. We also enjoyed a nap and time to freshen up before a long journey home.
Lastly, I want to give a shout out to the friendly staff – from check in, to the restaurant, and the rooftop bar – everyone we came into contact with was lovely.
Until the next adventure – bon voyage!
